HARLEM, NY — A youth gardening program in Harlem is currently accepting applicants for paid work and learning in Morningside and St. Nicholas Parks.

The program is for 14 to 19-year-olds living in Manhattan's Community District 9 that are interested in learning about the history and ecology of the two parks.

The Harlem Youth Gardeners will assist with gardening and park maintenance in the two historic Harlem parks while also learning about landscaping, leadership skills, environmental science, ecosystems, and sustainability.
