Keller Williams New York City (KWNYC), https://kwnyc.com/ a Manhattan-based real estate brokerage firm specializing in residential and commercial sales and rentals, part of the Keller Williams franchise, announces it has partnered with Brandon Steiner and CollectibleXchange in a renovation project for the NYPD's 32nd Precinct located at 250 West 135th Street.

The project is being done to honor slain officers Jason Rivera and Wilbert Mora, and a long list of fallen cops from Harlem's 32nd Precinct.

The tribute project began when Rich Amato, owner of Keller Williams NYC in Manhattan, and five other franchise offices in Long Island, Queens and Brooklyn, heard from his friend and colleague Brandon Steiner, founder and CEO of CollectibleXchange, about his plans to spearhead renovations of the precinct along with interior designer Carol Vaudable, of Carol Vaudable Interior Design. Amato, a former member of the NYPD, immediately wanted to get involved and offered to partner in the revamp.

Steiner is a sports marketer who provided the precinct with framed autographed sports memorabilia and who has been organizing upgrades to four other NYPD precincts throughout NYC and hosting tributes.

The sponsored renovations at the station include upgrades to the Community Affairs Conference Room as well as the Muster Room. Upgrades include: flooring, lighting, walls, new equipment such as desks, flat-screen TVs, and decor. These rooms are the ones most members of the community would see upon entering the station so it is imperative they are comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Certified Moving, Duration International and ESM Van & Storage kindly donated their services.

The unveiling of the station upgrades culminated with an in-precinct event held on February 3rd at 1pm. The precinct's Commanding Officer, Inspector Amir Yakatally along with precinct staff was in attendance. Additionally, Steiner has coordinated having New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone and Oswaldo Cabrera in attendance to present the tribute to top police executives.

"It was an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to support and give back to the brave men and women of the NYPD who are committed to protecting and serving our community," said Rich Amato, former NYPD member and owner of Keller Williams NYC.

"This is the fifth such renovation of NYPD precincts that I spearheaded with the goal of bringing the community and precincts closer together," explains Steiner. "I am a big supporter of the NYPD and want to make areas of the stations that members of the community gather in to feel comfortable and inviting."In addition, Steiner explains he wants to pay tribute to the officers.

“When Detectives Jason Rivera and Wilbert Mora were killed in the line of duty a year ago, our entire city came forward to honor them and celebrate their incredible lives of service,” said NYPD Commissioner Keechant L. Sewell. “And now, together with our community and private sector partners, the stationhouse that they called home has been made more accessible to the public they served. The memories of our fallen heroes live on with this thoughtful tribute, and their legacies endure through every officer who continues their vital work. I want to thank Keller Williams New York City, CollectibleXchange, and everyone else who provided their time, resources, and support toward this project. Thank you, as always, to our line-of-duty families whose strength inspires us each day.”
