Launch of Harlem Rental New Development Announced: 168 W 136th St.

Living New York Chosen Exclusive Leasing and Marketing Firm and Leasing Begins June 2023

(New York, NY May 4, 2023) - Living New York, www.livingny.com, a full-service, luxury real estate brokerage based in Manhattan has been awarded the exclusive leasing and marketing commission for 164-168 West 136th Street, an eight-story, 27-unit rental new multi-family property. The project was developed by Haussmann Development and Coltown Properties. Haussmann Development purchased the site in October 2021 and broke ground in April 2022. The building was designed by architect Nicholas Kazalas.


Located a few blocks from Columbia’s new Manhatanville campus, the project is expected to open to tenants on June 15, 2023. It is located by public transportation, by the 3 train on 135th Street and Adam Clayton Powell.

The property will feature 25 one-bedroom-units and 2 two-bedroom units.

The apartment features include: in-unit washer/dryers, private outdoor space, outsized windows, and central AC.

The building features include: virtual doorman, gym and public courtyard, co-working/lounge.
Rents will start at $3,500 for one-bedrooms.

Haussmann has developed projects multiple other projects in Harlem. Last year they completed Park Row, a 27-unit complex on Frederick D. Blvd and 146th Street. Living New York is also leasing Haussmann’s The Duke, an 8-story, 28-unit new development located at 521 West 134th Street.
