HARLEM, NYC — A man was robbed inside an East Harlem apartment building last month, police said.

A 21-year-old man was inside the NYCHA Wagner Houses on the corner of East 124th Street and First Avenue at about 11:20 p.m. on May 28 when a man dressed in a black t-shirt and a black facemask approached him, police said.

The man then pulled a firearm from his pants and grabbed the victim by the throat, forcibly taking his cellphone, according to officials.

Following the attack, the robber fled the building in an unknown direction, police said.

Police released an image of a person believed to be connected to the incident.
