Memorial Day weekend is here and there is plenty to do around New York City in the coming days.

NEW YORK, NY — It is Memorial Day Weekend and there is plenty to do around New York City in the coming days, including ceremonies to honor military service who have died in the line of duty.

This weekend's events include Memorial Day parades, street fairs, and more.

Saturday

Hester Street Fair's Memorial Day Weekend: Lower Manhattan

Hester Street Fair will have a special Memorial Day Weekend rendition on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Hosted at Pier 17, there will be more than 60 vendors of food, fashion, art, and more.

Sunday

Community Days at Intrepid Museum for Fleet Week: Midtown, Manhattan

It is Fleet Week and the Intrepid Museum is celebrating the occasion with a variety of activities, including a Community Day on Sunday.

Activities will begin at 10 a.m. and include interactive booths, sailors, and much more.

NYC Parks, Family Day in the Bronx: Ferry Point Park, Bronx

NYC Parks and Council Member Majorie Velazquez will host a Family Day celebration at Ferry Point Park on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

There will be games, obstacle courses, sports, and more.

Monday

Brooklyn Memorial Day Parade: Bay Ridge, Brooklyn

The 156th rendition of the Brooklyn Memorial Day Parade will take place Monday starting at 11 a.m.

The parade will kick off from Third Avenue and 78th Street, before eventually ending at John Paul Jones Park.

There will be a 21-gun salute by the Veteran Corps of Artillery and the playing of the Taps.

Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade: Little Neck-Douglaston, Queens

For those Queens residents looking to go to a Memorial Day parade, the Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade will take place Monday at 2 p.m.

The parade has happened in Queens every year since 1927.
