Suspects In Brazen Harlem Shooting Sought By Police

HARLEM, NY — Two women were brazenly shot by an unknown duo earlier this month while walking on a Harlem street, according to police.

The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m., on May 6, in the vicinity of Broadway and West 144th Street, police said.

One of the men, identified by the police as the individual depicted in the released image, reportedly drew a gun and shot a 39-year-old woman in the buttocks, as well as a 63-year-old woman in the back, police said.

The victims were both rushed to Harlem Hospital Center in stable condition while their assailants fled on foot toward Amsterdam Avenue, according to officials.

There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing, an NYPD spokesperson said.

As of Wednesday morning, there was no available description of the assailants.
