BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — Get ready to celebrate Halloween all weekend long with a slew of graveyard tours, candy factory zombie takeovers and, perhaps most terrifying of all, stand-up comedy. Here are the holiday events happening in Brooklyn this weekend.


Reality Bites 80s + 90s Halloween Party

Neighborhood: Gowanus

What: Start off the weekend with an angst-ridden celebration for those of us who remember the eighties and kept our flannel shirts from the nineties.

Death: A Graveside Companion

Halloween in Prospect Park

Neighborhood: Windsor Terrace

What: Zombies, werewolves, witches will take over the woodland Lookout Hill during a haunted Halloween walk.

The Shining Halloween Party

Neighborhood: Williamsburg

What: Videology invites you to “lock yourself indoors, work endlessly on your passion project, alienate and attempt to murder your family, and slowly freeze to death in the blistering cold.”

Brooklyn Wine Fest

Neighborhood: Greenpoint

What: Ditch the costume, forget Halloween and have some grownup fun.

Sweet Sweet Horror Halloween

Neighborhood: Bushwick

What: Party in a candy factory with zombies. There’s nothing more to say.

Halloween Youth Session At Brooklyn Boulders

Neighborhood: Park Slope

What: Watch kids in weird costumes climb walls.

The 10th Annual Schtick Or Treat

Neighborhood: Gowanus

What: More than 40 comedians will take over the Bell House for a terrifying night of comedy.

Cobble Hill Halloween Parade

Neighborhood: Cobble Hill

What: An annual parade of costume-wearers in the neighborhood.
