  1. Councilman Lincoln Restler is launching a campaign to clean up District 33. After receiving input from hundreds of constituents, his office identified key areas of concern, with high amounts of litter on streets, and reports of rat sightings. Plans by the Adams administration to clear all of New York City's homeless encampments within the next two weeks are underway in north Brooklyn where, under the BQE in Williamsburg, teams of police officers performed a "sweep" of a location many homeless individuals were living.
