Step into the late-nineteenth-century world of Edward Lange, an immigrant artist who captured the evolving landscapes of Long Island. A new exhibition at Preservation Long Island’s gallery in Cold Spring Harbor features watercolors, photographs, and historical objects that illuminate Lange's journey and his unexpected role in promoting Long Island's social culture and scenic beauty. 
This three-dimensional exhibit accompanies the release of Preservation Long Island's latest publication, "Promoting Long Island: The Art of Edward Lange, 1870-1889," which presents over two years of new research into Lange's life and contributions.

Join Yoga Therapist Danielle Tarantola for this traditional yoga practice which promotes bone and muscle strength, develops awareness of your movements, helps connect to and strengthen your center of gravity, keeps you steady and balanced, and cares for your&nbsp;back by encouraging better posture, so there's less pressure on the joints. This course will focus on hips, wrists, legs and spine, which are the bones prone to breakage, as well as reduce stress, which releases hormones that contribute to systemic deterioration. This event is general admission, first come first serve seating!
There are two different ticket levels for this event.
Regular tickets: This ticket is good for one general admission seat into the 2 hour John Edward event.
VIP tickets: Each VIP ticket includes a 3 month subscription to Evolve Plus (John's new app). Also included in the as a VIP is the opportunity to stay after the event for a conversation, question and answer session with John and the other VIPs. This event lasts a minimum of 20 minutes right after the regular event. In addition to that each person holding a VIP ticket gets to bypass the regular line and join a special VIP line. In addition to the live event, VIPs will be given access to a special virtual event you can participate in from the comfort of your home ($100 value). That’s two events for the price of one!
