LINDENHURST, NY — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

What does the local hero do?
She's a financial advisor.
Why do you believe the local hero should be recognized or honored?
(Maguerite) Meg should be recognized as she is a hidden gem in our midst. When Meg is not dedicating time to the faith based community by working tirelessly at our local church, she is always ready to provide funding or advice on how to solve local issues facing some of our residents. The level of dedication and never afraid to get involved in planning or helping is an incredible gift.
Further, Meg sponsors scholarships to reward and encourage young people in our community to look for ways to serve while pursuing their dreams. Donating and caring for people NOW and investing time and caring in the young people striving to succeed now shows how Meg is going to effect positive change for our community for years to come.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the local hero?
There's no judgement here, just truth and a gift of friendship that comes straight from the heart for everyone that gets the chance to collaborate with Meg. Check out the photo, that Meg in the background and her lovely daughter up front. It's just her way to let others shine!
