Andres del Sol

You might see him on our Long Beach shore just before sunrise or sunset. He's on Facebook, too. Who is he? Why is he there?

We needed painting done in our condo apartment, so I called upon a man who had done previous work in our building. But as he painted and spoke, I heard his story and learned he’s a man of unwavering love.

He’s known on Facebook as Andres LB. He’s a private man; most people don’t even know what he looks like. Although he posts many photos on Facebook, he never posts shots of himself or his family. But if you listen closely as he speaks, you hear the love in his heart for them.

Andres' photo work is renowned in Long Beach and far beyond. There are two reasons for that: his love for his family and his love for Long Beach.

There are aspects to Andres’ life that many of us can appreciate and resonate with; they also fit many of our own life situations.

But when some of us deal with family challenges, we don’t handle them well and turn to substances for “relief.” A relief that only exacerbates the challenges. Others deal with them mindfully; we find relief, a “clearing of mind,” in restoring areas of life.

All of us can gain from Andres’ story and what he offers us through his mind-clearing.

We can also gain by following his personal and beautiful therapy, the therapy which you’ll see in my essay, Andres del Sol.

Be well,
