Annual 10-Mile Run Takes Participants Through Long Beach

LONG BEACH, NY — The 47th annual 10-mile Race to Remember race is coming next month to Long Beach.

A large turnout is anticipated in memory of race founder Ralph Kaplan.

The $35 in-person registration runs until May 21. It's $45 on the morning of the race at Laurelton Boulevard and the boardwalk.

Using a flat and fast course, the race starts at West Park Avenue and Laurelton Boulevard.

Awards will be handed out in various age categories from 14 & under to 80+

The first man and woman to cross the finish line will be recognized, along with the first in the wheelchair division.

You can register online for $35.

T-shirts, while supplies last, get picked up ahead of the run.
