Woman's Body Found In Water Off Long Beach: Police

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the Tuesday morning discovery.

LONG BEACH, NY — A woman's body was discovered off Long Beach Tuesday morning, authorities said.

The body was discovered near the jetty at Lincoln Boulevard just before 6:30 a.m., Nassau police said.

A Long Beach officer located and recovered the body of a 37-year-old female.

Police are investigating.
