Breast Cancer Screening Coming This Week In Long Beach

LONG BEACH, NY — Women can get checked for breast cancer with free screenings.

Nassau County Legislator Denise Ford is hosting the Nassau University Medical Center Mammography Van on Thurs., Dec. 9.

It is for women 40 years and older.

The screenings are scheduled from 8:15 a.m. to noon in the Stop & Shop Plaza on East Park Avenue.

Appointments are required and are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
