The Bristal at North Woodmere and Hempstead Town to Provide Free Senior I.D. Cards to All Town Residents

The Bristal at North Woodmere in conjunction with the Hempstead Town Clerk’s office will offer all residents of The Town of Hempstead an opportunity to register for free Senior I.D. card from 10:00am until 2:00pm on Wednesday, September 20th at The Bristal at North Woodmere located at 477 Hungry Harbor Road. The Senior Identification Program is made available to all senior citizens ages 60 and up in the Town of Hempstead.

The Town Clerk's Office provides free Town of Hempstead Senior I.D. Cards, complete with a resident's personal data, physicians' contact information, and emergency phone numbers. Allergies and other vital information can also be printed on these wallet-sized cards. Seniors will also get an 8 1/2 inch by 8-inch form that can be placed on their refrigerator doors.

These Senior I.D. Cards and forms may be useful in the event of an emergency, as medical technicians can quickly gather pertinent information about a senior and contact his/her doctors and family members.
