Thursday Night Chat - The Bathhouses of Long Beach

The Long Beach Historical Society, 226 W. Penn St., invites you to join us for our popular Thursday Night Chat, The Bathhouses of Long Beach, on July 18th at 7:00PM. Mike Lundwall, Historian and Life Guard Captain, will present the history of the Long Beach Bathhouses. Bathhouses, changing rooms with showers, gave visitors access to pools and the beaches, and the cool ocean breezes. Mike will describe the various bathing pavilions that dotted the boardwalk, and their importance to the history and development of the city. A lively Q&A will follow.
