COVID-19 Booster Shots Offered For Residents By Appointment

LONG BEACH, NY — Another round of COVID-19 booster shots is being given this week.

The Town of Hempstead Vaxmobile, in conjunction with Mount Sinai South Nassau, is hosting the vaccine program by appointment only.

On Thursday, residents can get the booster at Island Park Library. It's available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Boosters are also being scheduled in advance at the city of Long Beach on Friday. The Vaxmobile will be stationed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

To make an appointment, call the hospital at 516-377-5333 or visit: www.southnassau.org/sn/vaxmobile. You must bring your original vaccination card for the booster.
