Fireworks To Blast Over Long Beach

LONG BEACH, NY — The 4th of July has ended, but the fireworks aren't finished. Long Beach has its celebration for the country's 246th birthday on Friday, July 8.

The city's fireworks display will start just after dark, at approximately 9:10 p.m.

A great view is expected anywhere along the boardwalk and the beachfront.

Expect lane closures prior to the show in the vicinity of Broadway and Long Beach Boulevard.

The forecast is calling for cloudy skies in the upper 60s on Friday night.
