The colonial home, on West Penn Street was originally built in 1906.

The 6,000 square foot mansion, located in the Red Brick District near the Atlantic Ocean, has 9 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.

The home was listed by Douglas Elliman's Joyce Coletti, who originally posted the listing for $949,000 last summer.

The home was the first of 12 homes built for a planned community by William Reynolds and designed by the architectural firm Kirby Petit & Green, based in NYC, Newsday reports.

According to the listing, the 100 by 100 foot property features a marble fireplace mantle in the living room, a tremendous 18 by 30 foot master suite with a fireplace and private dressing room.

The formal dining room also features a coffered ceiling.

The home was purchased by former resident Ann Kayman, according to Newsday.
