Holiday Electric Parade Returns To Long Beach

LONG BEACH, NY — A holiday tradition is back in Long Beach!

The 9th annual Electric Light Parade will take place in the West End section on Dec. 10.

Awards will given handed out to the most festive participants.

There will be antique cars, fire trucks and floats joining the parade route that starts on West Beech Street at Ohio Avenue.

Some area restaurants will offer special deals after the parade, the city of Long Beach said.

Parking is available at the Long Beach Catholic Regional School on West Broadway.

The parade starts to form at 4:30 and steps off at 6 p.m.

There will be a maximum number of 80 entrants with a $40 fee per vehicle and don't forget to show the decorative lights. For more on registering, click here.
