Jet Ski Accident In Nassau; 1 Teen Hospitalized: Police

POINT LOOKOUT, NY — A jet ski accident in Point Lookout sent one teenager to the hospital. It happened at 12:45 p.m. Sunday when two boys, 15 and 16 years old, were riding the jet skis in the Jones Inlet, police said.

The 16-year-old victim suffered a compound fracture to his leg. He is in stable condition at an area hospital. The other boy was not injured.

The US Coast Guard, the Town of Hempstead Bay Constables and the Long Beach Fire Department assisted in bringing the injured teen to the shore.
