LBHS Senior Is First Female To Score Point Conversion

On Sunday, Long Beach High School Senior Brooke Yellin became the first female in the school's history to convert an extra point in a football game.

In addition to football, Yellin has created a scholarship in memory of her mother, Geri, who died in 2018. Yellin has raised thousands of dollars through the sale of bracelets, lanyards and silicone phone wallets. The scholarship awards Long Beach High School students who have overcome challenges in their lives and love education the way Yellin's mother did.
