Long Beach Basketballer Finalist In Brooklyn Nets Competition

Isaac Solomon, a student at the Hebrew Academy of Long Beach, is one of a handful of finalists in the Brooklyn Nets All-Star Awards.

Solomon, who lives in Woodmere, is one of just six student athletes from the Tri-State area chosen as a finalists. According to the website, finalists are chosen for their "grit, determination, and a desire to succeed both on the court and in the classroom."

As a finalist, Solomon has already won a spot on the Brooklyn Nets Summer Basketball Clinic, and he's in the running to win a $3,000 grant from the Nets for his school's athletics program.
