Kids in the city will soon have new places to play, including an ADA-compliant play space.

The City of Long Beach is continuing work on renovating and building playgrounds, giving kids plenty of new places to play.

Work has completed on the Clark Street Playground. The work includes a brand new playset for kids and new underlayment. The city is also working on renovating the park's walking trail and adding new landscaping along the bay front.

At Veterans Memorial Park, work has begun on a fully ADA-compliant playground. This special set of equipment will make sure that all of Long Beach's children are able to play and have fun outdoors. City officials expect work to be completed in January.
