LONG BEACH, NY — The Long Beach Public Library is hosting an author event with Adam Nimoy, whose memoir explores the relationship with his famous dad.

He'll speak about his new book, "The Most Human: Reconciling with My Father, Leonard Nimoy," on Wednesday evening.

Nimoy, who had a long career in movies and television, is most known for playing Mr. Spock on "Star Trek" and the subsequent film franchise.

During the two-hour event, Nimoy will also sign purchased copies.
