POINT LOOKOUT, NY — Drivers should anticipate drawbridge openings on the Loop Parkway this week.

The state Department of Transportation is planning three days of unscheduled drawbridge openings for routine inspection and testing.

It will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wed., Feb. 16, Thurs., Feb. 17 and Fri., Feb. 18, weather permitting.

Motorists are urged to plan accordingly and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a construction zone.
