New Year's Eve Closures In Long Beach
Check below to see what facilities are open on Friday and Saturday to celebrate the New Year.
LONG BEACH, NY — As we get ready to usher in 2022, the city of Long Beach reminds residents about its closures this week.
On Dec. 31, City Hall and the Magnolia Center will shut their doors. The Recreation Center will close at 3 p.m.
The Ice Arena will be open as normal, while Long Beach buses will run on a holiday schedule.

On New Year's Day, the Recreation Center will close, but the Ice Arena will be open to the public.
Overall, New Year's Eve is the federal holiday since Jan. 1 falls on a Saturday. However, there will be mail delivery on Dec. 31 and not on the first day of the year.
