Pair Of First-Year College Students From Long Beach Get Honors

The students are freshmen at the University of Alabama and the University of Scranton.

LONG BEACH, NY — Long Beach's Megan Farrell has been named to the University of Alabama's annual Freshman Forum.

Farrell, and the other students selected, will continue a tradition dating back more than 60 years.

Karleigh Capobianco of Long Beach joins more than two dozen students from the University of Scranton's incoming class who enrolled in the Frank Corcione Business Honors Program.
