LONG BEACH, NY — It's one of the fun events on the calendar each year. The city of Long Beach holds its 60th annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 9.

It is open to children from Long Beach and the school district only.

Registration is required in advance at the Long Beach Recreation Center lobby.

The city said no day-of registration will be permitted.

Participants will be placed in different age groups.

It takes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Recreation Fields, located between Magnolia Boulevard and West Bay Drive.
