Residents To Make Push For Legal Cannabis Dispensaries In Long Beach

LONG BEACH, NY — The Long Beach City Council will hold its bi-monthly meeting on Tuesday at City Hall.

One topic expected on the agenda is cannabis.

Beryl Solomon, a Long Beach resident and cannabis advocate, will speak to the council encouraging them to hold a hearing about opting-in for cannabis.

Solomon is expected to be joined in the gallery by other residents in calling for a legal dispensary in Long Beach.

As of now, there are municipalities across Long Island where cannabis companies can currently locate dispensaries.
