Standout Students: Highlighting Top Nassau County Achievers

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — Patch is proud to showcase more academic standouts from Nassau County.

Elisa D'Sa of Bellmore was named to Regis College's Fall 2022 Dean's List.

Eleven seniors from Manhasset Secondary School were named semifinalists in the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium:

At the New York Institute of Technology, West Hempstead's Aleena Sam, who serves as Peer Success Guide, is recognized for assisting the university's Academic Success and Enrichment team, along with East Meadow's Saliha Demir, who serves as a Peer Tutor.

Among the members of the University of Rhode Island's Fall 2022 Dean's List include Woodmere's Michael Gordon and Mac Rochler.

Lauren Schampier, of Lynbrook, has been named to the SUNY Morrisville Dean's List for the Fall 2022.

Mikhayl Raveneau, of Inwood, has selected to the SUNY Morrisville President's List.

Lynbrook's Annelise Reilly, is part of the Mississippi State University Fall 2022 Dean's List.

Malverne's Jack Kenney is one of 99 Alvernia University student-athletes named to the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Academic Honor Roll for the Fall semester.

At Georgia State University, Katrina Elrod from Long Beach and An Pham of Merrick, made the school's Dean's List for the fall.

Inwood's Jenny Chen and Emily McGovern, of East Meadow, have secured spots on the President's List for the fall semester at The College of St. Rose in Albany, New York. Hessem Loayza-Ladcani, of Levittown, has been named to the school's Dean's List.

Mary Rose Fitzsimmons, of East Meadow, made the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
