Tattoo Studio Owner May Ink Long Beach Lease

LONG BEACH, NY – A new tattoo studio may open at the center of town.

The studio is proposed for the third floor at 46 E. Park Ave., according to a resolution on the Long Beach City Council’s Jan. 18 meeting agenda. Council members will vote Tuesday on whether to approve off-street parking requirements for the business. The agenda does not name the prospective tenant.

Google lists three tattoo studios in or neighboring Long Beach: Solid Gold Seaside at 852 W. Beech St., Abyss Fine Art & Tattoo Studio at 54 W. Park Ave., and Skin Deep Tattoo, is at 1083 W. Beech St., in East Atlantic Beach.

Salvation South Tattoo opened at 58A E. Park Ave. in 2013, one of the first studios of its kind to operate in the city. The business has since closed at that location.
