$4,700 In Merchandise Stolen From Massapequa Park Rite Aid: Police

MASSAPEQUA PARK, NY — Police are investigating a weekend burglary at Rite Aid drug store in Massapequa Park.

A man walked into the store at 5125 Merrick Road at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Friday. He headed into a restricted area and continued downstairs to the basement while carrying a black backpack, police said.

He exited the store a short time later. It was determined that the man had stolen assorted merchandise valued at more than $4,700, police said.
