4th Of July Massapequa House Fire: Police

No injuries were reported from the blaze, police said.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — A house fire on July 4th sent firefighters to extinguish the flames.

A portion of the home on Michigan Avenue was on fire at 5:15 p.m. Several surrounding departments assisted the Massapequa Fire Department in battling the holiday blaze. The Nassau County Fire Marshal also responded.

The fire caused damage to a section of the home, but there were no injuries, police said.
