75-Year-Old Woman Dies After Massapequa Car Crash

Police say the woman's car left the road and hit a utility pole. Her identity has not yet been released.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — A 75-year-old woman was killed after crashing her car in Massapequa on Saturday morning.

According to police, the woman was driving north on Unqua Road at 9:25 a.m. when her 2010 Toyota Prius left the road and hit a utility pole. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead by a doctor.

Police do not believe there is any criminality at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Police have not yet released the woman's identity.
