Grucci Fireworks, Free Concert at Pennysaver Amphitheater Saturday

Get there plenty early if you're going as the venue fills up fast.

The Pennysaver Amphitheater at Bald Hill will play host to a family friendly Fourth of July celebration on Saturday.

Slomin’s is sponsoring a free concert at the Farmingville venue followed by a Grucci fireworks spectacular.

The concert, featuring Billy Joel tribute band Captain Jack and UNCovered, a classic rock cover band, begins at 5:30 p.m. The fireworks show starts at 9:15 p.m.

Gates to the parking lot will open at 3 p.m and gates to the venue, located at 1 Ski Run, will open at 4 p.m., according to the Pennysaver Amphitheater’s website.

Get there early if you are going. The venue fills up quick and County Road 83 (North Ocean Avenue) will close at 7 p.m. due to the high volume of traffic and visitors to the area.

Coolers and food are not allowed to brought inside the venue, but there is a full concession area and food court inside.
