MASSAPEQUA, NY — After two years of cancellations and modifications, residents in cities and counties across the country are looking forward to many of the traditional Independence Day activities that mark the summer holiday. July 4 is tomorrow, so there’s still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

Where: Jones Beach, Wantagh

When: July 4 at 9:30 p.m.

Fireworks matching with patriotic music will create a colorful display above the shores of Jones Beach to celebrate the country's 246th birthday. Free parking will be available starting at 5:30 p.m.

What: Town of Oyster Bay's Salute to America

Where: TOBAY Beach, Massapequa

When: July 12 at 7:30 p.m.

The Town of Oyster Bay's annual Salute to America. A concert followed by fireworks. Alex Shillo's Tribute to Bruce Springsteen followed by Grucci Fireworks.
