LI Weather: Cold But Sunny Week Ends With Frigid Weekend

LONG ISLAND, NY — Don't get used to the warm weather, because things are going to get back to their seasonal norms this week.

After a high of around 50 degrees on Monday, temperatures are going to plummet, and get dangerously cold by the end of the week.

The high for Tuesday will be around 38 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will stay around there for most of the week, but drop below freezing on Friday.

Saturday will be frigid, with a forecasted high around 25 degrees. The wind chill could make it feel even colder.

Thankfully, skies will be clear and sunny for the week as well.
