LONG ISLAND, NY — It's going to be beautiful and spring-like for most of this week on Long Island, before rain moves in toward the end of the week.

Skies will be clear for most of the week, and temperatures will be well above normal. Temperatures will be in the 50s all week, getting close to 60 toward the end of the week.

A storm will move into the area later in the week, ending the sun. But temperatures will stay high. Rain is likely to start Thursday afternoon and continue into Friday. Once the storm passes, temperatures are going to plummet, too.
