Massapequa Falls To Hawaii In Little League World Series

The local team lost 12-0 in a no-hitter against the team from Honolulu.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — The Massapequa Coast Little League lost to Honolulu in the double-elimination Little League World Series.

The Coast played Friday night in game 12 of the series. Unfortunately, they lost 12-0 in a no-hitter to Honolulu.

The game ended after the fifth inning after the mercy rule was invoked due to Honolulu's large lead.

The team will now play on Sunday in the double-elimination bracket. They will play either the team from Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania or Middleborough, Massachusetts.
