MASSAPEQUA, NY — More than two dozen student-athletes from Massapequa High School are set to continue their sports careers at the collegiate level next year. The athletic department hosted a National Letter of Intent signing ceremony on Nov. 9 for 25 seniors, who have committed to schools near and far.

From Nassau County to Chicago to Florida, the athletes will represent colleges and universities across the country. They were joined for their special day by their families and coaches, and received well wishes from Superintendent Dr. William Brennan, high school Principal Barbara Lowell and Director of Physical Education, Health, Athletics and Recreation Shannon McEntee.

“Your dedication and love for your sport has gotten you to this point,” McEntee told the athletes. “This is a huge accomplishment and we are very proud of you.”
