Massapequa Park Turkey Trot Assists Charity

Nearly 700 people participate in event, which benefits the YES Community Counseling Center.

The sixth annual Massapequa Park Turkey Trot took place on Nov. 21 at Brady Park.

The event, which benefitted the YES Community Counseling Center, had nearly 700 runners registered in the 5K and youth fun run.

In addition to the races, there were refreshments, prizes and raffles at the finish line. The funds help YES’ fight to increase awareness, prevent and treat drug use and abuse and promote healthy families and a safe community.
