More Than 40K Toys Donated At Toys For Tots Drive In Massapequa

The Town of Oyster Bay has collection boxes set up at three locations to help families who are less fortunate this holiday season.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — More than 40,000 toys were collected at a weekend event for Toys for Tots.

Saturday's collection drive took place at John Burns Park in Massapequa. But, there is still time to donate toys this holiday season through the Town of Oyster Bay.

Drop-off boxes are located at Oyster Bay Town Hall North in Oyster Bay, Town Hall South in Massapequa and the ice skating rink at Bethpage Community Park.

"The thousands of toys collected at this Cruise-Thru Holiday Toy Drive will bring giant smiles to the faces of children this holiday season," Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino said. "I thank residents for opening their hearts and wallets to generously give back to less fortunate children this holiday.
