'Music Under The Stars' In Massapequa To Feature Motown Band

Dr. K's Motown Revue is set to jam out Tuesday night at the John. J Burns Park in Massapequa.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — Get your picnic blankets and folding chairs ready, as Dr. K's Motown Revue is set to bring a fun evening of music and dancing to Massapequa on Tuesday night.

The Motown show is the 12th performance in Oyster Bay's "Music Under the Stars" summer concert series. The shows began in early July and run through Aug. 10. There are 17 total concerts in the series.

Tuesday night's performance will gein at 8 p.m., according to the Town of Oyster Bay.

"We hope to see you tomorrow night for some great music under the summer stars!" said Supervisor Joseph Saladino on the events Facebook page. "You're not going to want to miss Dr K's Motown Revue: America's #1 Authentic Motown Revue Band."

Dr.K's Motown Revue looks to keep the popular Motown sound alive by performing countless timeless hits from the era.

"This outstanding band of musicians and singers takes you on a very realistic journey of the Motown sound, and makes you sing along on every familiar song they play," it states on the band's website.

The event is free, but there are no rain dates and the performance will be held outdoors weather permitting.
