Obituary: Deacon Kenneth Sullivan, Longtime Massapequa Resident, Dies At 87

Died: March 24, 2017

Visitation: Tuesday, March 28 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Massapequa Funeral Home, North Chapel on 1050 Park Boulevard in Massapequa Park.

Service: Wednesday, March 29 starting at 10 a.m. at the St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church on 2 Bayview Avenue in Massapequa.

Obituary: Deacon Kenneth R. Sullivan, longtime Massapequa resident, passed away on Friday, March 24. He was 87,

Sullivan was ordained on June 9, 1979 and served as a Deacon at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church in Massapequa as well as the St. Martha R.C. Church in Uniondale. He was also a proud Marine Veteran.

He was predeceased in life by his wife, Celine.

Sullivan is survived by his children; Ann M. Ahrens (Jim), Kathleen Whittemore, Eileen Ophals (John) and Kenneth R. Sullivan, Jr.

In addition, he is survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Internment will take place at the Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale.
