Visitation: Thursday, August 17 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Massapequa Funeral Home, South Chapel on 4980 Merrick Road in Massapequa Park.

Service: Friday, August 18 starting at 10 a.m. at the St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church on 2 Bayview Avenue in Massapequa.

Obituary: Madeline "Maddie" Hechinger, of Massapequa Park, passed away on Thursday, August. 10. She was 90.

Internment will take place at the Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale.
