NASSAU COUNTY, NY — NICD Bus is warning riders that Friday's snow could impact the service.

The latest forecasts show that Nassau County could receive three to six inches of snow, starting tonight and going into Friday.

Nassau County's NICE Bus said that the weather could cause delays and detours, or even route cancellations. This is especially true on the North Shore, where roads can become impassible during a storm.

NICE says that riders should check the NICE Bus Service Alert webpage before heading out to see if there are delays, or they can use the NICE Go Mobile app to track real-time arrivals.
