Winnie's International Takeout has succeed in Amityville and is planning a second location in Massapequa.
MASSAPEQUA, NY — A new soul food restaurant is planned to come to Massapequa in the coming months.
According to Newsday, Twimonisha Mason, the owner of Winnie's International Takeout in Amityville, is planning to open a second location in Massapequa by January. It will take over a former Checkers location at 5070 Sunrise Highway.
Winnie's offers a menu full of simple but tasty food, like barbecue and fried chicken, as well as specialty pastas and sides.
