TOBAY Beach Spray Park Opens Tuesday

Just in time for the start of summer vacation, the new spray park at TOBAY Beach is scheduled to open tomorrow.

The spray park was announced earlier this year. In addition to the spray park, there is also a new playground for kids near the marina.

The new spray park features a green jungle frog which emits a fan spray of water from its mouth, randomly dumping water buckets, cascading water features, spinning spheres of streaming water, an interactive water table, multiple streams of water spouts, random staggering heights of water, safety surfacing and sunshades.

It replaced the old spray park, which had become worn down from the sun and saltwater, the town said. The playground at the spray park was also improved with new paint, equipment and sunshades.

TOBAY Beach, and all of the Town of Oyster Bay beaches, are now open seven days a week, and will be through Labor Day.
