BRISTOL, CT. — Tonight is the night! Massapequa Coast Little League looks to advance to the Little League World Series for the first time in the team's 72-year history.

But first, the boys from Massapequa need to defeat Toms River East, representing New Jersey, tonight for the Metro Championship.

It's a rematch for Massapequa, having already beat the Toms River East squad on Saturday, 6-3. Massapequa also edged Fairfield, Connecticut, 7-5 on Monday.

Toms River East has tournament wins against Rhode Island and Fairfield.

The Metro final takes place at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
